ja, gjett hvem skal hit til sommeren ;)

Completely restored in 2010, the Bottega Panerai in Florence is the first Panerai boutique in the world, situated at the historical site of Piazza San Giovanni 16R.

From the early 1900s a shop, repair workshop and watch making school, the Bottega Panerai is today a meeting point for Panerai enthusiasts and collectors, who can find here a selection of special editions, in addition to watches from the collection.

Panerai Started in 1860. In 1860 Giovanni Panerai (1825-1897), founder of the family watch business, opened the first watchmaker's shop in Florence on the Ponte alle Grazie and establishes contact with the most prestigious and longest established Swiss watch manufacturers. Giovanni was succeeded by his son, Leon Francesco. 1890 to 1900 .

Guido Panerai (1873-1934), the grandson of Giovanni Panerai, expanded his grandfather's business and gave it a new priority, specializing in high precision mechanisms and became official supplier to the Royal Italian Navy.

In 1900 the watch shop moved to the Piazza San Giovanni site in Florence, where the Panerai watch boutique can be found today, and where the Orologeria Svizzera name still appears on the shop door to underline the close link between the watches and their Swiss origin. During this time the first deliveries of precision optical and mechanical watch instruments were made to the Ministry of Defence.

Du har lest "From The Depths Of The Sea" ser jeg ;)
