The Gröne Manueel One.

The brothers Tim & Bart Grönefeld have now created a watch that is more aimed at younger people as it is accessible to the average person.

Admittedly, it is only produced in a number of 388 pieces and sold out quickly.

This is a manual winding mechanical watch, it is dedicated by the brothers to their father Sjef Grönefeld.

The diameter is 38,5 mm and it's around 10mm thick with the anti reflective sapphire crystal.

The blued alpha hands is made of stainless steel.

I have not decide yet if I like the second hand or not.

grone8.jpg

There is some Grönefeld DNA on this one.

grone15.jpg

There is a cut out on both the bezel and the lugs which gives a sober impression.

A regular stainless steel clasp at the calf leather strap.

The calf leather strap is 20/16mm dark gray with orange stitching that is very soft and comfortable and breathable quality.

The solid backcase is engraved with a ancient map of Oldenzaal from 1626.

grone14.jpg

The watch features a finished and decorated Swiss-made manual winding caliber SW210 that has been torque-adjusted to a ‘just right’ crown-winding feel that the brothers prefer.

The salmon-colored tremblage dial with the applied polished letters that form the word Gröne becomes really clear.

grone9.jpg

The highly polished diamond-cut batons give the impression that they are floating in the air on top of the dial.

grone11.jpg

The two-step brushed rhodium-plated ring at the outside of the dial with Netherlands at the bottom frames the salmon-colored painting in the middle.

grone10.jpg

There is a ancient map of Oldenzaal from 1626 added like a papyrus roll in the box.

It looks great at the wrist.

Redigert:
Fine detaljer.
